The pump is equipped with a bronze impeller. This makes it an excellent choice as a booster pump, irrigation pump, or high-pressure pump for pressure testing storage tanks during tank testing. The pump, with its diesel engine and vacuum system, is mounted in a sound-dampened enclosure. This limits noise pollution to the surrounding area. The diesel high-pressure pump is often used in industry as a booster pump or pressure pump for tank testing and cooling water applications. As a booster pump, the high-pressure pump is installed behind a larger pump to pump the output with more pressure. This provides greater pressure, for example, to cover longer distances.
