The VÖGELE AB 340 Extending Screed, suitable for compact pavers of the 1000 and 1300 class, features a base width of 180 cm and a maximum paving width of 340 cm, extendable to 500 cm with extensions. This flexibility makes it ideal for constructing combined foot and cycle paths, minor rural roads, narrow roads, and squares. Key specifications include a minimum paving width of 75 cm, hydraulically adjustable width from 180 cm to 340 cm, and cut-off shoes measuring 2 x 1 ft 9 in. The screed includes tamper bars with a stroke of 0.16 inches and operates at a maximum tamper speed of 1,700 rpm. The vibrators function at a maximum frequency of 50 Hz, and the screed is equipped with heating rods on the screed plates and within the tamper bars.
