BMW 318is E30 2-door, first put on the road on 19 November 1990. This sporty version of the 3 Series E30 differs from the classic 318i in particular by its M42B18 engine: a 1.8-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with 16 valves developing 136 hp (100 kW), combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. Marketed over a relatively short period of time, the 318is occupied a special place in the E30 range. Its twin camshaft engine with four valves per cylinder was a particularly modern BMW engine at the time. The 318is also benefited from a sportier configuration with a sports chassis and disc brakes at the front and rear. Presented in a metallic silver grey colour, this E30 retains a sober configuration that is characteristic of its time. It features BMW spoked wheels, a patterned fabric interior with side-supported front seats, front fog lamps and a rear spoiler. The interior retains its classic presentation with analogue instrumentation, clock and manual gearbox.
