Porsche Carrera 996

Transmission type : Automatic "The Porsche 911 Carrera 996 marks an important chapter in the history of the 911 and combines the recognizable lines of the model with a more modern, lighter and particularly useful design. The Glacier White version gives this coupé a timeless look and highlights the flowing body shapes. With 47,000 km, this example also has a remarkably low mileage.

In the back is the 3.4 liter six-cylinder boxer engine with 300 hp. The naturally aspirated engine responds instantly, builds up its power linearly and delivers the distinctive sound that is inherent to a 911. The Tiptronic transmission enables relaxed driving, while the rear-wheel drive, compact dimensions and direct steering retain the classic Carrera character.

The 996 is lighter and more compact than many later generations and therefore feels lively and uncluttered. At the same time, the 2 plus 2 layout offers more practicality than a traditional two-seater sports car. The split rear seat, air conditioning and electric windows make the car suitable for regular use and longer journeys.

The equipment includes Litronic headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels and a sound package. Headlight cleaning, electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, a Porsche audio system and a rear window wiper complete the practical equipment.

The first water-cooled 911 is increasingly appreciated for its pure size, characterful engine and important place in model history. With its low mileage, 300 hp boxer engine and timeless white finish, this is an attractive 996 Carrera for enthusiasts who want to combine classic 911 features with everyday practicality." = More information = Current bid: EUR 2500
