Porsche Boxster 986

Transmission type : Manual "The Porsche Boxster S 986 brings together the classic Porsche roadster experience in a compact two-seater with a mid-engine and an open body. The Biarritz White version is in line with the clear lines of the first Boxster generation. The placement of the engine directly behind the seats forms the basis for the characteristic balanced character.

At the heart of it all is the 3.2 six-cylinder boxer engine with 252 hp, coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. The naturally aspirated engine and the direct involvement of the manual gearbox make the S version attractive to enthusiasts who want to determine the rhythm of the powertrain themselves. Speed, gear shift and the characteristic boxer sound are central to this.

The factory configuration includes the Sport Design package, sports suspension and Porsche Stability Management. The 17-inch Boxster S wheels match the compact proportions. Together, these components give the version a clear sporty cohesion without losing sight of the character of a usable roadster.

In the interior, the leather sports seats with backrest shells and the three-spoke steering wheel are in line with that setup. Air conditioning, electric windows and electrically adjustable and heated mirrors complete the equipment. The sound package and the Porsche CR 2200 radio match the classic cockpit.

Xenon headlights, an electrically operated convertible top and the wind deflector add to the versatility of this Boxster. The hardtop mentioned in the file adds an extra possibility for closed driving. With its 252 hp boxer, six-speed manual transmission, Sport Design package and sports seats, this Boxster S is an attractive choice for lovers of open-top Porsche driving pleasure." = More information = Current bid: EUR 3200
