Porsche Boxster 986

Transmission type : Automatic "The Porsche Boxster 986 is the roadster with which Porsche once again gave the mid-engine concept a permanent place in the model range. The compact dimensions, low seating position and centrally located six-cylinder boxer engine provide the balanced and direct driving experience that makes the first generation Boxster so recognizable.

Behind the occupants is the 2.7 six-cylinder boxer engine with 220 hp. The naturally aspirated engine combines smooth power build-up with the characteristic Porsche boxer sound and is linked to the Tiptronic automatic transmission. Via the steering wheel controls, the driver can determine the gear changes if desired, while the car is also ideal for relaxed touring.

The Ocean Blue Metallic version fits in particularly well with the classic lines of the 986. The 17-inch SportClassic wheels with coloured Porsche emblems also give the car a recognisable factory look and complement the compact roadster design.

The comfort equipment is also attractively composed. The electrically operated convertible top makes the transition from closed to open driving easy, while the wind deflector, air conditioning and cruise control make it more pleasant to use on longer journeys. The interior also has leatherette seat upholstery, electrically operated windows and the Porsche CDR 220 radio with sound system.

Especially as an open two-seater, the mid-engine concept comes into its own: the low body, direct steering and compact proportions give the Boxster its own place within the classic Porsche models.

With its 2.7 six-cylinder boxer, Ocean Blue Metallic, SportClassic wheels and characteristic 986 roadster experience, this is an attractive youngtimer for enthusiasts who are looking for open Porsche driving pleasure and a classic configuration." = More information = Current bid: EUR 1050
